Biography

Assorted musicians assembled by George Wein for Concord recording dates in the late '80s and early '90s. Personnel included saxophonist Scott Hamilton, cornetist Warren Vache and, on one date, special guest saxophonist Al Cohn. The 1990 release was a live concert done in Bern in 1989, while the 1988 release was a 1987 show recorded in Switzerland. ~ Ron Wynn, All Music Guide
