ABOUT JAZZ HERITAGE SOCIETY
Since 1995, the Jazz Heritage Society has strived to find hard to find jazz recordings that our members can enjoy. From classic jazz greats such as Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Charlie Parker, Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, Miles Davis, Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, Anita O'Day, Billie Holiday. We also strive to add current artists to our repertoire such as Diana Krall, Regina Carter, Natalie Cole, Chris Botti and Jason Moran. Each year, the Jazz Heritage Society issues about 300 new recordings. We offer a more impressive jazz selection than the other clubs do. We have exclusive items such as Louis Armstrong: Rudy Vallee's Fleischmann's Yeast Show/Louis' Home-Recorded Tapes that are only available through JHS. We also have an extensive DVD repertoire which contains memorable live performances, documentaries and biographies of famous Jazz artists.
The Jazz Heritage Society has offered specially commissioned works from great artists which were recorded for the first time. These include recordings by Benny Carter, Mel Louis Jazz Orchestra, Peggy Lee, Louie Bellson and an endless list of acclaimed recordings!
Only Society members can receive the Review which contains our music recommendations, and special member pricing. Our articles enhance your knowledge and enjoyment of our selections, we have expertly written background information and opinions about the music and performances. We listen to our members’ views in requests when we are looking at adding new selections to our catalog, we currently produce over 3000 titles.
The Jazz Heritage staff is made up of experts in customer service, internet technology, asset management — and most importantly, Jazz Music! This unique combination enables Jazz Heritage to provide exceptional service to Jazz Music lovers in ways not available anywhere else. In addition, Jazz Heritage Society has thousands of titles in its own private label reissue program. These are recordings that have previously been out-of-print, are otherwise unavailable or were recorded especially for the Society.
The Jazz Heritage Society offers outstanding benefits to its members.

With 24 pages of glossy color, The Review includes independent critiques as well as fact-filled reviews of many of the titles. We also feature contests, puzzles, trivia, cartoons and other great information that makes The Review a jam-packed and entertaining reading experience. Two important aspects of The Review are our cover feature, a selection made by our staff that is unique to our members, and our Featured Selection, which is the society's best choice of each issue — a critically acclaimed recording, in most cases a multiple set, along with a free offer of an additional FREE CD selected at the discretion of you, the member.
